Added a full quart minus 1/2” of 1:1 right hive. Which means they ate it all in 2 days! I brushed off a dozen ants from inner cover (inside hive body around feeder) and added more cinnamon. Added ~1/2 quart to the left hive. Brushed off 8-10 ants and added more cinnamon.

Right Hive In the right hive I observed 5 frames have some drawn comb. In addition I did see the queen. I was not able to observe eggs or larva. I did see pollen in cells. I’ve also observed bees returning with full pollen baskets to this hive Bees had consumed nearly all of 1:1.…

Both hives were out of sugar water – replaced Both queens had been freed. As a result, removed spacer. Flipped inner cover for better bee space (flat side down, hole at top)

Both queens were observed and dotted green. Packages looked great with only a few dozen dead bees. They were fed throughout the day. Installation was smooth on both hives. The left hive the package was not as empty, left it propped against the hive for more bees to find their way in. Treated with 1:1…
